All 90 houses at a new development in Gloucestershire overlooking the River Severn estuary have now been sold, with construction on site complete.
Designed to meet the growing need for new housing in Lydney, the homes at Bellway’s Archer’s Walk development have hit just the right target, delivering a range of two, three and four-bedroom houses for both local buyers and those moving into the area.
With building work on site now finished, the final residents at the development will move into their new homes shortly.
Archer’s Walk forms part of a flagship 750-home consortium development which is creating a new community of residents in Lydney.
Carly Maidment, Sales Manager of Bellway Wales said: “We carefully designed the range of homes constructed at Archer’s Walk to meet the needs of buyers in the area, with something for everyone – from first-time buyers through to growing families.
“With so many people spending more time at home, it’s no longer just a space to sleep. This year, a home might also have had to function as a workplace, a school or even a leisure centre – and the flexible living spaces within our new houses have been a particular draw.
“Lydney is also such a desirable location – another factor in the strength of the property market here. It’s a good town in itself, with loads of facilities, while it’s close to the Forest of Dean and even has a harbour on the Severn.
“It also has good transport connections, including a railway station, and it’s easily commutable to both Chepstow and Gloucester.”
Although all homes are now sold at Archer’s Walk, Bellway has properties available just nine miles from Lydney, at Manor Chase in Tutshill, where the final four and five-bedroom houses are available to purchase.
Buyers at Manor Chase can take advantage of Bellway’s Express Mover scheme, under which the housebuilder works with a recommended local estate agent to sell their current home – with no estate agent fees to pay.
