Bellway’s Woodcroft Park development in Billingshurst is now open for business.

The first selection of houses being built at the site are now available to buy after the sales office opened its doors to visitors.

Situated off Oak Road, the 51-home development will include a range of two, three and four-bedroom houses and bungalows for private sale, as well as 18 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.

Woodcroft Park is the third development to be built by Bellway in Billingshurst in recent years, following the success of Amblehurst Green and The Courtyard, both situated off East Street in the village.

Daniel Williamson, Sales Director at Bellway South London, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming visitors onto the site for the first time. The opening of the sales office will enable our team to show people what Woodcroft Park has to offer.

“This development has generated a lot of interest in the area following the success of Amblehurst Green and The Courtyard. These two popular developments showcased the high quality of homes that we consistently deliver and provided an example of the village lifestyle that people could enjoy at Woodcroft Park.”

As part of the planning agreement for the new development, Bellway will be investing more than £640,000 in local infrastructure and facilities, including more than £175,000 towards the expansion of Weald School and more than £162,000 for Billingshurst Primary School.

Other contributions include more than £146,000 towards transport, £76,000 for equipped play areas and £41,000 for equipment for Weald School, as well as funding for Billingshurst Village Hall, Billingshurst Library and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

Woodcroft Park will form part of the Marringdean Acres residential area to the south of Billingshurst.

Daniel said: “Bellway has made a significant investment in Billingshurst by helping to create new communities in the village and by making sizeable contributions to local infrastructure and services.

“Woodcroft Park is a continuation of that commitment to providing much-needed housing for local people. Construction work began in May and we are now in a position to make the first homes at the site available for purchase.

“The mix of homes on offer will appeal to a range of buyers in a well-connected yet rural location that will be attractive to growing families and commuters.”
