Vistry Group appoints new managing director for Yorkshire division
Vistry Housing Yorkshire kicked off 2023 with the announcement of Rob Spittles as new regional managing director.
With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Rob will oversee the delivery of homes under the Bovis and Linden brands across Yorkshire and brings a wealth of knowledge to guide his team through one of the more challenging times the industry has seen in the past few years.
After starting his career in the Royal Engineers, Rob joined McClean Homes as assistant site manager in 2000 before being promoted to site manager and then production director at George Wimpey/ Taylor Wimpey East Anglia. Rob joined Linden Homes East Midlands as production director in 2015.
Rob says: “I’m delighted to be leading such a fantastic team who are dedicated to delivering high quality homes and excellent customer service. While there’s no doubt that it’s a more difficult market at the moment, there’s lots to be optimistic about and I’ll be drawing on my experience to keep the team buoyant and motivated.
“A key focus this year is to continue to improve our customer journey and to provide the very best homes to meet local needs. Our commitment to creating new communities is as strong as ever and we have some brilliant developments and land acquisitions in the pipeline.
