A new manufacturing company specialising in high-quality steel products has launched in Coventry – with ambitious plans for the future.

Steel Gates Grill Fabrications Limited has moved into a new home at Colliery Lane thanks to a deal concluded by award-winning commercial property agency Bromwich Hardy.

Bromwich Hardy partner David Penn said the company had agreed a five-year lease deal for the 15,700 sq ft site, located on the busy Bayton Road Industrial Estate.

“This is an ideally located and excellent unit which should give the new company a perfect start in life. It has first-class access to the motorway and trunk road network and has recently been refurbished.

“We’re delighted to have secured the lease for our client, and particularly pleased that a new manufacturing company is moving into the site as part of the expansion of an existing business.”

Pash Lal, from Steel Gates Grill Fabrications Limited, (SGGF) said the deal was an ideal start to business life for the new company.

“Although we are a new business, we have an experienced leadership team which has a long-term vision of providing fabrication services and products to SMEs, large construction companies and, of course, the smaller residential customer requirements as well.

“Our core range of products are steel gates, steel rail fencing and girders/beams to design requirements and we will soon be adding on shutter doors as well.

“We have some ambitious plans for the company which we expect to grow over the coming 12 months creating new jobs. We are delighted with the new base and for the work carried out by David Penn and Bromwich Hardy to make our move so successful.”

Pash said that SGGF managing director Parveen Kumar was also the managing director of Coventry construction company PK2 Construction and had been looking to expand for some time.

“It has always been an ambition to develop our work in the steel fabrication sector and we are delighted to have launched SGGF to do just that.”
